Peacetime is the long time scale used when you spend time traveling, going about business in a city, sleeping, etc.
Peacetime rounds are an hour long. Since it’s low-risk, and activities may span many hours, the bookkeeper will keep track of events in spans of multiple hours. Tracking this time is still important. It ensures that everyone gets to act, and that the procession of days goes by at a normative pace.
Activities
Every peacetime round, you can undertake an activity requiring an hour or more time.
Activities taking an hour or more may include:
- Walking or riding
- Cooking a meal
- Cutting wood or trees
- Digging graves
- Stoking a fire to full blaze
- Sleeping
- Teach another character
- Studying skills
Activities, especially sleeping, may extend through multiple rounds. So long as they you’re not sleeping or focusing, you may undertake minor tasks during broader actions, such as eating and drinking.
